Special Steel Wire Ropes for shipping and harbor applications are high performance ropes for heavy-duty, high-speed cranes, where reliability and safety is a crucial factor for the installed steel wire ropes. The ropes provide high flexibility and higher breaking force, with their high quality material and excellent construction. This is further refined with an optimal number of wires having a larger diameter in the outer most layers of the steel rope strand.
A special corrosion resistance lubricant and heavy zinc coating provide greater resistance from corrosion. Special Steel Wire Ropes ensure outstanding service, reduced maintenance, replacements and operational costs, thus being an ideal product for use in the harbor & shipping industry.
